Home Education Clubs at Stanmer Park!

Our Home Ed Clubs provide a safe, nurturing space for 8-10 children, where we can really get to know your child well.

Always child led, children at our Home Ed Clubs are able to engage in a wide range of activities, from den building to exploring, adventuring to more creative pursuits.

The emphasis is on being outside and engaging with the natural environment in whatever way they feel moved. Some may gather around the fire to connect and chat, others may snuggle up with a book, still others will be out exploring in the mud. Either way, NatureKids are encouraged to work together, to do what interests them, and to pursue that interest for as long as feels right to them.

Like our Holiday Clubs, community is at the heart of what we do. We always eat lunch together, and gather for an opening and closing circle at the start and end of each day. NatureKids are encouraged to bring books, materials, sketchbooks, or whatever else they want to engage in for their day. They are encouraged to think beforehand about what they might want to explore- whether that’s the natural world around them on our beautiful site, or learning about things from books. We always have the Creativity Box with which to create projects, with lots of glue and coloured paper to make them look great!
Children are encouraged to work together, or individually, according to their needs and interests, and what feels right at the time. Our dedicated staff are here to help our NatureKids decide what they want to do next, work out what interests them, and what they want to engage in and explore.
Our fantastic woodland site is in the heart of Stanmer Park Woodland, complete with tyre swings, mud kitchen, and fire circle - a great place to play and have fun!
We also spend the first hour offsite, exploring the main woods, doing our Welcome Circle, and collecting things we might need for our day.

Check out our Photo Gallery to see what we got up to at our recent Holiday Clubs.

Our Lewes Adventurers Clubs are an opportunity to get out and about - exploring the South Downs, and local green spaces close to Lewes. NatureKids Adventurers will plan our trips and decide where we will adventure for the day! Start /end at Quaker Meeting House in Central Lewes. Please note, we will be out in all weathers, so please dress appropriately!

Club Details

Our clubs run in term time on the following days:

Tuesdays at Stanmer

11am - 3pm

£39.99/day

We run in small groups, with a maximum of 8-10 children. This enables us to get to know your child well and devote time to supporting them to explore and develop their interests, within the context of a small, held  group.

All clubs are drop off, and are suitable for Year 1 to age 12.

We are Ofsted Registered and accept Tax Free Childcare Vouchers.

Due to our Ofsted Registration, children must be the equivalent of Year 1- ie. 6 years old by 31st August of the academic year that they join.

We look forward to welcoming your smaller people when they reach Year 1!

We run in term time - typically in blocks of 6 week terms, but sometimes slightly longer/shorter, depending on when the holidays fall.

Your child is welcome to join us for a trial session to see if NatureKids is the right fit for them. After this we ask for a commitment for the rest of the term, to keep the group sustainable and create a steady sense of community, into which children can relax and feel at home.

Monthly payment options are available.

Our Home Ed Clubs will start on 15th September 2026.

Please contact us if your child is interested in attending, or book in for your first session on the Bookings Page.

Do feel free to contact us if you have any questions, or would like to discuss further.

We ask for at least 3 weeks notice before the end of each term if your child is going to leave, so we can offer their space to someone else.
